Learn how best to care for your backyard trees. Determine the best native trees to plant in your backyard landscape to add color and character while adding diversity and improving the environment. Learn proper tree installation, including proper tree placement, watering, mulching, fertilization and pruning.
We will also take a look back at 2010 plant pest problems (and a few diseases) to see what's ahead for 2011. This session will focus on tree and shrub pest identification and plant heath impact assessment to help you develop effective management strategies.
