Home Gardener Classes through OSU and Extension

Dear Friends of Chadwick Arboretum & Learning Gardens,

There are several opportunities to pursue your gardening interests in a variety of classes that are being offered through the OSU Chadwick Arboretum & Learning Gardens and the Franklin County Extension Master Gardeners.

Sign up now for Winter Classes in Floral Design (Basic and Advanced), Plant Propagation (Tree Grafting, and Growing Your Own Plants from Seeds and Cuttings), and Mosaic for Beginners. All classes will be held in the Howlett Greenhouse, 680 Vernon Tharp Road on campus. I have attached the registration information and a full description of classes. The Home Gardener Series, offered January-November by Franklin County Master Gardeners, OSU Extension, includes 21 classes in four series (winter, spring, summer and fall). Classes include: growing fruit, small space vegetable gardening, landscape design, rain gardens, sustainable gardening, fall lawn care, and composting. Classes are 3 hours and are held 9 a.m.-noon on Saturdays at Ohio State. Cost is $40 per class. To register, contact mailto:skurdal.1@osu.eduor 247-6046.
