2011 Spring Work Day

After a rain day was called last week, we had a record high of 84 degrees on Saturday the 9th for our 2011 Spring work day in the Bexley Community Garden. Big thanks to Jimmy and Alissa Kline for bringing their tiller out and tilling the plots whose gardeners wished for them to be tilled. As a community everyone pulled together and we also got two barrel compost bins built, cleaned out the old compost area, and laid some more mulch on the trails. It was a successful and rewarding work day and we are much more prepared for our 2011 growing season because of everyone’s hard work. Big thanks to everyone that came out to lend a hand.

Here are just a few other photos from the day.
